Holiday visa

UK passport holders don’t require a visa to enter Brazil, but make sure you have a passport valid for at least six months and a return ticket.  Proof of sufficient funds might just be requested on arrival so make sure you have enough dosh!  You’ll be able to stay for up to 90 days.

Working Holiday Visa

Brazil doesn't currently have any working holiday agreements with other countries but there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer.  If you fancy joining the party, why not try your hand at assisting with Carnival preparation in Rio?  There’s also the option of renovating favellas, rarely seen by travellers, or the opportunity to do community work with AIDS and HIV children.  Or is work experience at a surf school more your thing?  There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer in Brazil (link to volunteering page).
